The other night Grace went on her first date. She was so excited, we painted her nails and pinned her hair. Papa took her out to another one of Gabby's basketball games, just him and her. To be completely honest it is possible she was just as excited to show Rena her painted nails as she was to be going alone with Daddy. 
It won't be long before she will want to go out with someone other than Papa but I hope that day does not come too soon. She needs to stay little for a long time. 
Sweet baby girl - it will be awhile, Mom, but it won't seem like it when it comes, after all, Rena is 40! I have her first date, guy, destination etc. in my birthday date book - John, movie in Delano. Oh, well - now her daughter will be dating...and on it goes!
