My daughter participated in her first school music program last week. The amount of work the teachers and kids put into it was impressive. There are three kindergarten classes in her school and each group did something special, along with several whole group numbers. Her class was split into groups of five and each group memorized five lines to say together. They all did such a good job of memorizing the lines and speaking loudly into the microphone. So often younger kids, preschool/Kindergarten, either speak so softly they can't be heard or don't speak at all.
Her cousin is in a different kindergarten class but they stood close enough together in the big group that we could get both of them in some pictures. In the picture below, they are both on the top row, he on the far left, her second from the right.
All the songs were so cute! The theme was possibilities so they sang and talked about all the different possibilities available for their future.
I am looking forward to watching many more school music programs in the future. I, of course, think that my little girl was the cutest and best singer and speaker in the whole group. :)
