Aww, look at him, isn't he so cute? I think this calf is one of the cutest ones we have. He has a wider face and his hair is kind of curly on the top. The black around his eyes does not hurt either.

There are better pictures in existance of Grace helping feed baby cows but this one is too funny not to post. The bottle is a little heavy for her and the calf pulls pretty hard so she needs daddy to help her out.

Look, he has milk on his nose!

Baby cow, lick you. If you ask her what she did a the farm with the cows one of the things Grace always says is: baby cows, lick you!

Look, Lucas is in the barn! The old stalls for the milk cows are just the right size for calves. Although, with all the boards and wire they had to put up to keep the calves in the stalls a big empty area with one or two support posts would have worked just as well.
Lucas in the barn - omgosh! Grace will love seeing these pictures when she is grown up!

Hi Tina,
ReplyDeleteI came over from Gretchen's blog but I just wanted to say hi cause it looks like we have a lot in common. I have a 2 yr old and a 8 month old too- both boys. And we live on a small farm where we raise cows and sheep! We're trying to expand our cow herd enough right now to have enough extra to sell beef. Anyway it's nice to see fellow blogger with similar interests. Your cows are adorable and so are the kiddies! Come and visit if you like. www.linnenbringer.blogspot.com yours, whitney
