We collect all of our used aluminum cans and turn them in for cash. Naturally the box can hold a lot more cans if they are crushed. The farm we lived at before had a can crusher mounted on the wall of the shed. Last time we had a lot of cans, Grace helped me crush them at the farm then collected the money at the redemption center. Our new house does not have a can crusher. We had to improvise.
Micah, JJ and I put on winter boots and crushed a whole box of cans one afternoon. We stomped and stomped and stomped. The boys had great fun! Now the can box is only half full so we have room for lots more cans. This time it will be Micah's turn for the money. He is pretty excited about it and I am sure he will not let me forget when the box is full again.
